Matchmaking registration opens Monday for businesses planning to attend this year's North Puget Sound Contracting Conference.
The two-day gathering brings together prime contractors, government agencies, and firms from throughout Washington for networking, training, and scheduled introductions, organizers announced.
The matchmaking component operates in a format comparable to speed dating, pairing agencies and prime contractors in short, timed one-on-one meetings focused on upcoming projects and required capabilities, organizers said.
A Washington APEX Accelerator center manager and advisor stated that properly prepared participants will find these sessions valuable for both established and new companies entering government contracting.
Organizers described demand for the matchmaking slots as very high and instructed interested companies to request a limit of three meetings. The conference takes place Oct. 28-29 at the Lynnwood Event Center, 3711 196th St. SW, Lynnwood.
To join the matching process, RSVP at https://bit.ly/26_NPSCC. Following registration, participants should indicate interest in matchmaking, and a link to select a time slot will be distributed.
Discounted rates for exhibiting or sponsoring the event are available.
