Everett A Snohomish County man is confronting multiple criminal charges, among them attempted first-degree murder, after a series of confrontations targeting his former partner in Lynnwood over the past week.

Detectives took the 38-year-old into custody on Monday night, following a nighttime stabbing at the woman’s Lynnwood apartment, according to court filings.

Lynnwood officers initially arrived at a residence on 202nd Street Southwest on Saturday in response to a domestic disturbance, records indicate. The 47-year-old woman informed responders that she and the suspect had ended their relationship just one day prior.

Following the separation, the man reportedly lingered near the woman’s unit, making verbal threats to both her and her roommate, police noted. He eventually entered the apartment unannounced, physically assaulted her, and removed her mobile device from the premises.

Though officers established reasonable cause for arrest at that point, the suspect had already departed, delaying immediate detention, officials said.

Later that evening, before midnight, police returned to the same complex after neighbors reported an armed altercation at the apartment.

Inside, the woman was discovered in a bathroom, visibly injured from at least eight stab wounds to her head, neck, and torso, according to incident reports. She recounted to officers that the confrontation began outside her door, while her roommate shared that the suspect may have orchestrated her exit to draw her into a vulnerable position.

The victim described how a contact connected to the suspect had phoned her earlier, stating the man wished to deliver cash. Once she entered her vehicle to collect the money, she found both tires deflated; moments later, the man emerged from nearby shrubbery wielding a knife and launched his assault.

He reportedly told her, *“I’m not done with you,”* before departing the scene, officials noted.

Medics transported her to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for urgent care, authorities added.

A K-9 team scouted the neighborhood in search of the suspect but did not intercept him directly; however, officers recovered a snapped steak knife caked in blood not far from the residence, according to police logs.

Digital tracking of the suspect’s mobile device ultimately led detectives to his location, where he was found concealed beneath a dense shrub, records show.

He was processed into Snohomish County Jail on Monday facing attempted first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, robbery, and unlawful imprisonment, along with several counts of assault and harassment. Each charge carries an added domestic violence designation, per court documents.

Prosecutors also added a separate incident from earlier this year in Everett, where the same woman reported being strangled during a prior confrontation in April.

Earlier this month, the man had been detained after allegedly breaking into two dwellings in Lake Stevens, where he reportedly absconded with multiple guns, musical instruments, and hand tools. He secured release on bond for those offenses just over a week before the recent Lynnwood episodes.

He remains incarcerated on a $1,250,000 bail, according to jail records.
