Tennis sweeps across the region

In Wesco 3A/2A North Division action, Everett defeated Marysville Getchell 7-0 at Marysville Getchell High School. In singles, Isaac Taylor defeated Jonah Crain 6-3, 1-6, 10-7; Jaden Nguyen beat Sawyer Hurja 6-0, 4-6, 10-7; Conrad Galenberg topped Tate Hurley 6-0, 6-4; and Brayden Ryan defeated Gabe Ott 6-0, 6-2. The doubles teams also swept: Evan Brunni and Elisha Hekker defeated Spencer Rinehardt and Gabe Elder 6-0, 6-0; Nolan McMains and Gavin Lewis beat Jaxson McCauley and Evan Grafstrom 6-1, 6-2; and Finn Gilfillan and Owen Blakely defeated Gavin Howell and Chris Almeda 6-2, 6-1.
Cascade took a 7-0 win over Marysville Pilchuck at Totem Middle School. Jiang Yang defeated Jackson Watson 6-0, 6-1; Clarence Bobadilla beat Johnny Grady 6-1, 6-1; Liam Manoppo won against Parker Floyd 6-0, 6-3; and Shivron Manickam defeated Joseph Senyak 6-0, 6-0. In doubles, Jordan Marquez and Kai Loeung defeated Enzo Antis and Zach Richey 6-0, 6-0; Tri Tran and Stony Bik beat Isaac Harrison and Nolan Bowles 6-0, 6-0; and Ted Trinh and Anthony Ly defeated Gio Carillo and Luke MacKay 6-0, 6-0.
Stanwood edged Monroe 5-2 at Monroe High School. Kellan Zill defeated Camden Potter 6-1, 6-4; Jesse Henken beat Ryan Pickens 7-5, 6-4; Isaiah Kiehl defeated Bryce Stogner 6-3, 6-3; and Elias Funston beat Brody Seigel 6-1, with Seigel retiring in the second set at 3-5. In doubles, Tanner Perez and Olen Anderson defeated Lucas Hogle and Ryder Olsen 6-4, 6-2; Dean Fagan and Braden Thompson beat Jackson Butterfield and Ashton Ramirez 6-4, 4-6, 10-6; and Graham Schwender and Booth Seigel won against Christian Macfarlane and Mark Gochnauer 6-2, 6-3.
In Wesco 3A/2A South Division play, Shorewood swept Mountlake Terrace 7-0 at Mountlake Terrace High School. Seb Sanchez defeated Stephen Valmayor 6-1, 6-1; Ethan Dong beat Tyson Castaneda 6-2, 6-4; Drew Johnson won against Gabe Kurniawan 6-1, 6-0; and Jacob Mignogna defeated Praise Ngo 6-4, 6-1. In doubles, Reid Bley and Drew Boyd defeated Sam Cho and Carlos Brown 6-2, 6-2; Isaac Binz and John Chalcraft beat Vikram Boland and Logan Boetjer 6-0, 7-5; and Zachary Gordon and Elliott Marter won against Andy Vuong and Jaedon Belo 6-0, 6-1.

Mihai Stansky beat Aryan Jadal 6-1, 6-0; Lleyton Hoy defeated Kevin Phan 6-1, 6-1; Miles Garbaccio won against Jaren Sayavong 6-1, 6-0; and Jasper Dahl beat Hung Truong 6-4, 6-1. Isamu Nakano and Jordan Nhoek defeated Winston Yao and Keane Patterson 6-4, 2-6, 10-8; Eli Barr and Grant Carpenter beat Matthew Yao and James Lim 6-0, 6-3; and Levi Leptich and Luke Artherholt defeated Kevin Tran and Kruz Mitchell 6-2, 6-2. Edmonds-Woodway defeated Archbishop Murphy 6-1, with Charles Teichmann winning his singles match for Archbishop Murphy against Patrick Branch 6-2, 6-3.
In Wesco 4A Division action, Jackson defeated Lake Stevens 7-0 at Lake Stevens High School, with Kamiak also taking a 7-0 win over Mariner at Mariner High School. Glacier Peak defeated Arlington 6-1 at Glacier Peak High School, with Kade Martin claiming Arlington's lone point against Brody Steele 6-4, 3-6, 10-6.
