SEATTLE. The Puget Sound area's unusually dry October will hold through Saturday, but Sunday looks wet for parts of western Washington, according to the FOX 13 Seattle weather team.
High pressure settled in over the region Friday, delivering another mostly dry day with temperatures right around average for late October. Clouds will increase Friday night into Saturday as the next system approaches, with cool temperatures overnight.
The coast and Olympic Peninsula look most likely to see wet weather from Saturday night into Sunday. Some rain should make it into the Puget Sound region on Sunday as well, though it currently looks fairly light, and it will all depend on the position of the low.
Right now, Sunday's Seahawks game looks mainly dry with mostly cloudy skies, though a chance of showers remains in the forecast for the game.
Heading into the work week, the low-pressure system is expected to shift east, potentially allowing drier weather to return to western Washington. Forecast models still show some differences, however, so a chance of showers stays in the forecast for Monday.
