Judicial Conduct Commission Holds February Meeting
The Washington State Commission on Judicial Conduct convened Friday, February 6, for its scheduled business meeting. The agenda remained brief, focusing on procedural updates and a new internal announcement.
During the Executive Director’s report, the Commission announced the creation of a judicial anti-harassment taskforce. Officials stated the group's objective is to enhance the workplace atmosphere within the judicial branch, with a specific aim to foster a more respectful environment for “everyone who works there.”
The remainder of the session was administrative. The Commission reported that no stipulations or formal decisions were available for release during this meeting. Members approved the minutes from the November gathering as written.
The floor was opened for public comment, though no input was provided.
The Commission is scheduled to reconvene for its next business meeting on April 24, 2026. That session will take place at the Skybridge Hotel at SeaTac.
