In his public biographical claims, Anthony Tomashefsky, operator of the olympicherald.com website, has described himself as a "Manager" at a financial company called Off Ball Services, a role he places at six years.

The claim drew direct scrutiny in the r/PortAngeles2 thread "Monetizing defamation blogs - OH,OWD." Commenter u/Famous-Finance9192 wrote:

"He also worked at another financial company call Off Ball Services as a 'Manager' for 6 years. However, there's no paper trail or existing address. Anthony is young, he's 29 years old but when he was 'managing' the so called financial business he would of been 19. I'm here to say someone needs to investigate."

The arithmetic the commenter describes checks against the records: a commercial data report lists Tomashefsky's date of birth as July 1996. A six-year management tenure claimed today would have begun when he was about nineteen.

The thread's original poster, writing separately, observed that Tomashefsky "owns several LLCs," linking a public business-records profile; another commenter answered, "Dude owns a lot of businesses." The Off Ball Services claim sits inside that wider thicket of claimed business affiliations.

That is the first documented discrepancy: a senior-sounding claim with, as the commenter put it, no paper trail behind it.

The second discrepancy is documented too

Off Ball Services does have a public-facing managing partner. Per his public professional profile, consistent across two independent business directories, that man is Ben Mavy: a sales-consulting and financial-technology professional with a decade-plus career, including early-stage work at the fintech firm Riskalyze and a head-of-retail-sales role at RetireUp.

Ben Mavy is also the man a Clallam County Superior Court found Anthony Tomashefsky stalked.

Court records show that on August 8, 2025, Mavy petitioned the Clallam County Superior Court for a civil protection order against Tomashefsky, case number 25-2-00595-05, before Judge Elizabeth A. Stanley. The court granted the order on August 26, 2025, effective through August 26, 2027. Tomashefsky failed to appear at the hearing. His own earlier anti-harassment petition against Mavy, filed in 2023, was denied for insufficient evidence after a full hearing. And when Tomashefsky sought revision of the outcome, Judge Brent Basden denied it in an October 21, 2025 memorandum opinion, writing that the record "amply supports" the findings against him.

The overlaps do not stop there

Mavy's professional profile lists him as co-founder and vice president of Advice Chaser, from January 2018 to September 2022. Advice Chaser is the same company at the center of this section of the series: the same Advice Chaser LLC that a New York court hit with a $42,128 judgment alongside Tomashefsky in February 2024, and the same company the Better Business Bureau lists at 40 Taylor Cutoff Road in Sequim, with his girlfriend, Mavy's ex-wife, named on the profile as its member.

The two men's documented histories also cross at Riskalyze. Mavy's profile describes him as an early-stage employee there. The commercial data report on Tomashefsky records him in sales-development roles at Riskalyze's Auburn, California office in 2016 and 2017, sales development representative, then team lead, then a sales development manager title.

Two men. The same fintech startup. The same lead-generation company. And, if Tomashefsky's claim is to be believed, the same small sales-consulting firm, one that publicly answers to the man a court ordered Tomashefsky to stay away from.

What TROH does not assert

This article does not conclude what the discrepancy means. It is possible for a person to hold an informal role, a misremembered title, or an inflated résumé line; it is also possible for a claim to be simply untrue. TROH asserts none of these. The documented record stands on its own:

1. Tomashefsky publicly claims six years as a manager at Off Ball Services. 2. A commenter who examined the claim found no paper trail and no existing address for it, and noted it would have begun when he was about nineteen. 3. The company's documented managing partner is Ben Mavy. 4. A Clallam County court found the record amply supports that Tomashefsky stalked Ben Mavy, and ordered him to keep his distance through August 26, 2027.

If there are documents that put the six-year claim on paper, an offer letter, a W-2, a corporate filing, Mr. Tomashefsky is invited to produce them, and TROH will publish them.

This article relies on public court records and public complaints. TROH welcomes a response from Mr. Tomashefsky and will publish it in full.
