The Olympic Herald's own sitemap lists 425 posts. A name count across the site's archived articles produces the following census:

TargetRoleArticles mentioning
W. Brent BasdenClallam County Superior Court judge109
Brian ParkerFamily law court commissioner58
Benjamin MavyProtection-order petitioner; private citizen17
Dr. Steve TuttyCustody evaluator; clinical psychologist6
Dr. William SingerDomestic-violence evaluator, Northwest Evaluation Center5

That is 195 articles, nearly half of everything the site has published, mentioning one of five people. A newspaper covers a county. The census shows one publication covering a list.

Every campaign follows an adverse event

Court records document what preceded each campaign:

  • Judge Basden (109 articles): On Oct. 21, 2025, Basden denied Anthony Tomashefsky's motion to revise a stalking and anti-harassment protection order. "On the contrary," his memorandum opinion states, "the record amply supports the conclusion that Respondent has engaged in this behavior." Two months later, on Dec. 26, 2025, domain records show olympicherald.com was registered. The first attack pieces appeared in January 2026.
  • Commissioner Parker (58 articles): On Aug. 26, 2025, Parker granted the protection order after Tomashefsky failed to appear at the hearing; his Aug. 27 memorandum described "some 55 pages of emails" documenting monitoring of the petitioner's movements and an effort to have him arrested "in front of his children at a family funeral." The blog's first Parker smears ran Jan. 12 and 13, 2026.
  • Benjamin Mavy (17 articles): On Aug. 7, 2025, Mavy petitioned for the protection order. He prevailed at every step, the order was granted, reconsideration was denied Sept. 15, 2025, and revision was denied Oct. 21, 2025. Tomashefsky's own earlier petition against Mavy, filed in 2023, had been denied for insufficient evidence. Mavy's articles followed his victories.
  • Dr. Tutty (6 articles) and Dr. Singer (5 articles): Both are forensic evaluators whose work product figures in contested family-court matters. Singer's coverage followed a program-level documentation review and a single unpublished appellate opinion about one assessment; Tutty's followed a licensing board's statement of charges, an accusation, not a finding. In each case, an evaluator's conclusions displeased someone, and the evaluator became the story.

The grievance predates the publication

The pattern did not begin with the website. Court records show Tomashefsky petitioned against Mavy in 2023 and lost; reported Mavy to Wyoming authorities in a 55-page email campaign a court later found crossed "the boundaries of the permissible"; moved to strike, continue, revise and reconsider the protection order; and lost each time. Only after the Oct. 21, 2025 ruling did the publication exist. The domain purchase is documented; the sequence is documented; the census is documented.

The public noticed without any census. On the Reddit forum r/PortAngeles2, the thread "Monetizing defamation blogs - OH, OWD" drew 45 upvotes; a commenter named the site's author as Anthony Tomashefsky, and the original poster shared the site through a snapshot link, the thread shows, "to avoid your view being monetized by the publisher."

The site's own self-coverage confirms the fixation. Its June 2026 mid-month review and its "May in Review" retrospective, published under the banner "The Relentless Fight for Truth", are organized almost entirely around the publication's disputes with the Clallam County court and the protection-order litigation, framing the targets of the census as a single entrenched adversary. Even when the publication writes about itself, it writes about them.

What the pattern is not

The archive contains other material, crime briefs, sports roundups, wire-style coverage. That is what makes the census legible. Set against a full news budget, the concentration stands out statistically: five people connected to one man's grievances account for 195 of 425 posts.

No one received a campaign who had not crossed him. Basden does not get 109 articles if he revises the order. Parker does not get 58 if he denies the petition. Mavy does not get 17 if he never petitions at all. And two psychologists do not get eleven between them if their conclusions land the other way.

Retaliation is a pattern, and patterns are measured. This one is measured in court dates, a domain registration, and a 425-post archive.

This article relies on public court records and public complaints. TROH welcomes a response from Mr. Tomashefsky and will publish it in full.
